Mark's Guitar Shop in Spokane, Washington was founded in October 2002 by local musician Mark Morse.
Mark’s is a service-oriented pro shop located in the Historic Garland District that strives to provide customers with the best service possible – no sales commissions, no spiffs – simply a transparent, low pressure approach to benefit their customers’ needs.
As a teenager in the mid 1990s, Nate Corning, the current owner of Mark’s, shopped for gear at Mark’s previous shop, Rock City Music. While Nate was in college, Mark hired him to work part time at Rock City, entrusting him with more and more responsibilities. In 2002, they ultimately joined forces to open Mark’s Guitar Shop, focusing on what they both loved and knew best – guitars.
Unfortunately, Mark passed in 2006, and Nate became sole owner of the shop in 2007, which continues to thrive under Mark's vision. Now, with Nate, Bob Burdette & Taylor White's combined 50+ years of sales and repair experience, visitors (including Billy Gibbons, Eric Johnson, Halestorm, Tesla, Nate Mendel of Foo Fighters, Joe Bonamassa, Chris Stapleton and local legend Myles Kennedy!) are guaranteed excellent customer service and product knowledge while they’re checking out the Reverend, Music Man, Schecter, Seagull, Art, and Lutheries, as well as vintage and cool player-grade used guitars, basses, and amps.
